Sketchy Lines Issue

We currently have Revit 2016 and I want to use the Sketchy lines function in my graphics override.

The issue we face is as we are using a "brick" line pattern on our elevations and random sections of this pattern are lost just leaving blank spaces when we use sketchy lines..

Now we can adjust the jitter scale toward 10 but this not the effect we require. It is too aggressive, but it will close some of the missing areas.

Our current settings are 1 for jitter and 2 for extension.

So what else can be done to have the effect of sketched lines while keeping the integrity of the pattern?

Do we have to return to using Impression to get our desired results???

I have attached a jpeg of an area after the sketchy lines have been activated!

Regards

This is a known result when using sketchy lines with surface patterns. You can turn down the jitter, turn off the surface pattern, or take the results for what they are.

Thank you for your response, as for turning down the jitter, we are at 1 already so if it goes any lower we will not be using this feature.

We also want to have the single line pattern to denote brickwork, so we can not turn off the surface pattern.

This leaves taking the results as they are which is not an option as the effect is very poor.

Also I have aready viewed the link you attached and this is no further on. All we need is for the function to work correctly with patterns as well as single lines!
