Sketchup model section in Revit

Sketchup model section in Revit

Hello, I imported a Sketchup file in Revit by first exploding it in Revit > export to 3D Cad > putting all on same layer en exploding > import in Revit. When I want to make a section through this model and my building, the section of the sketchup model appears very weird....

So my question is how can I make proper sections in Revit with the sketchup model in the background?

In the image you can see that the brown lines are the sketchup model, my building is partly selected (blue). I actually made a section through my building, but sketchups model stays in front of it....

I see lines, yellow, which are not visible in sketchup because I erased them with shift+erase. Why do I see them in revit?

Export Sketch up model to Dwg. Create an in place generic model in Revit and link the dwg in there instead of importing it directly in the project environment.

Different software will translate the object differently. In Sketchup it won't show those lines, when export to Revit or AutoCAD, those triangulation will show. If you want to hide it, you can use AutoCAD and use the EDGE command. Fastest way I find to hide those edge is to use 3dsmax and set the edge to invisible.

@ToanDN after following your advice, the sections etc are right displayed. However, now the site model is black. I can not change the color. When I try to use the paint tool or through object styles, I cant change the color in white..?
