Hello everyone,

I have a sketchup object, that has a texture image who has a color on it (202, 181, 154- RGB). I exported the object and also the image texture and imported in a Revit family (furniture). How can i have the same look of the texture like in Sketchup, and how can i appy that color corection i a material family in Revit.

Bellow you have texture and print screens of the two objects: Sketchup and Revit.

Thank you !

You can export SKP to DWG with layers, import DWG to Revit and go to Object Styles > Imported Objects, and assign materials to layers.

You can create a new material or copy a similar existing material and modify it.

@ToanDN, thank you for your answer, i made as you showed , but i don't know what should i set, to be exactly like in Sketchup.

In Revit appears more darker than Sketchup, because in Sketchup has a color over the texture with the rgb 202-181-154.

I can also send you the object made in sketchup to import directly in Revit.

Thank you for your help.

Revit materials and SketchUp textures are not the same.  You need to play with the settings to get (close) to what you want.

Hi, I've done this successfully many times with imported objects but can't seem to get it to work with a particular model from Sketchup - it's the Barcelona pavilion statue model.  No matter what I try the geometry does not seem to want to take any material although it does appear different color in a shaded view.  I have put all the different material geometry onto their own layers and I have assigned the object material inside the family and in the project to no avail.  I have also changed the materials that imported with the object which does nothing either.

Please help!

for some reason the file itself won't upload - maybe too large or protected?  But it's the Barcelona pavilion statue file from 3d warehouse: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/842462e3fcec482c9ac3aefb8c574b8b/Barcelona-Pavilion-staue?hl=...
