Site filling rooms below...

Hi there!

I'm having troubles with a subterranean parking lot... it has earth/site above it, and because of the "Elevation of Poche Base", wich is set lower than that parking lot floor, it fills my section with a earth hatch that I do not want. Basically,  I want an interruption/blank space in the 2.5 meters of the room. Site above the room and below the room, not all the way up!

Thanks!

What about using Building Pad tool to create your underground parking and modeling the "earth" above it as a Floor?

Hi barthbradley!

Sorry for late response, but things got tight with schedules! In the meantime I found out that Revit has no "tunnel creator" tool (wich btw it should), so what I did was to eliminate the earth above and replace it with a solid that matched the boundaries I wanted. Then I changed it's fill pattern to match the surrounding site. I'll try that solution next time ;). Thank you!!

Yes, that's exactly what I was describing to you -- put a floor above that is assigned to the same materials that the toposurface is using.  But, instead of "eliminating the earth" at the underground parking, use Building pad tool to cut it out .  The Building Pad sketch boundary would be defined by the parking area.  By doing it this way, you can schedule the amount of earth that needs to be displaced (e.g. Cut/Fill Schedule).  This is valuable information.
