Simple Family With Electrical Info

I am creating a simple family that is just an extrusion that acts as a placeholder for a piece of electrical equipment. I want to be able to place the extrusions in a project, arrange them to show the intended layout,  and be able to schedule the basic electrical info for the different types of equipment so i can send the plan and schedule to the electrical engineer for them to do the real engineering.

I created shared parameters for Volts, Amps, and Watts and loaded the family into a test project, but those fields don;t appear as fields that are available for the schedule. Can anyone please help me out on my process, i.e., what am I doing wrong?

What's the Schedule Category? Electrical Equipment? Did you model the Family in a Electrical Template (rft)?

If not, open the Family and re-categorize it.

I figured out by creating shared parameters for the electrical criteria.

I used the Specialty Equipment Category. It seems to work.

Shared Parameters don't need to be "Categorized", but the Schedule Category needs to match the Family Category that the Shared Parameters are used in.
