showing parts problems (roof)

Hi all!

I'm having some problems with "showing parts" (Revit 2018):

I did a roof by the structure, thermal and finished layer. Obviously thermal and finished internal layer are only for the internal, so with the parts function I cut it. The problem is that in 3D still remains the holes of this layers. I show you picture for better understanding.. Somebody Who can help me? there are better manners to do thats details?

Thank you all folks! 01.PNG02.PNG

Nope. The pictures don't help. Maybe throw in some arrows pointing out those "holes" you are talking about.

Ok.. In this image, the thermal layer, the yellow one under the roof's structure (Parts visibility-->show parts) is invisible outside.. But it cuts anyway the wall (that it have to connect to the roof's structure)

Did you exclude it somehow?  does it highlight when you hover the mouse over it?

Post the file.

Yes I did.. I did the roof, then I cut the thermal and finished internal layer. Which should be the right step ?Cattura.PNGImmagine.png

So you want the Part not to be Excluded??? Untick the box next to "Excluded" in the Part's Properties.

thermal layer is only inside the house not outside, that's why I cut it and hide it. The problem is that in the 3D view there is a hole (a space) between the wall and the roof structure (concrete). The section the view is correct! the wall must to connect to the roof (the thermal layer must stay inside the house) and outside I have to see only the roof concrete structure. this problem could be seen in the elevations or 3D
