I have drawn the lot lines with true distance and bearing information from the survey - is there a way to show this on the site plan without re-typing?
On that same note, we just staked the lot and noticed that some tree locations from the tree survey were not accurate. We now need to move building east by 15' - how is this best done and how can I get rid of the survey points shown below?
Thx,
Marc

Not sure if I understand your 1st question correctly. Anyways, you can use Spot Coordinate to tag the property line:
Instead of moving the building, I just keep it as is and move the Property Lines.
Survey point can be turned off under VG> Site> Survey Point subcategory.
Yes there is. Tag the property line. Regard the moving of the building; I wouldn't (especially if it's modeled). Move the site elements instead.
What do you mean by; "get rid of the survey points"? Are you referring to the Project Base Point and Survey Point? If so, you don't get rid of them; you just turn them off in the view.
Thanks for reminding me about Property Line tag. It's definitely a better tool.
@Anonymous
You can load the tag family from: US Imperial\Annotation\Civil
Awesome - thx for your help guys.
@barthbradley - follow up question - if I move the site objects with the property lines, that won't mess up bearing info?
no, not unless you rotate. Moving it left, right, up, down, isn't going to change the bearing.
