Hi,

Does anyone know how to show a walk through part of an internal wall in plan view in Revit?

I want to show an archway in the floorplan, but as its not a door or window, I'm not sure how to do it.

I`d like to show that its there in the floorplan view, maybe by some hidden lines.

Thanks.

Use the Wall Opening Tool

Used Arched Wall Opening Family.

... or edit the wall profile on an elevation and draw the archway opening.  But using a wall opening family is more versatile and better for the long run.

@woodstim...if you are going to go the edit wall profile approach, don't forget to add symbolic line work (e.g. "Hidden", "Overhead") in Plan View representing the opening head.  That's the added benefit of using a family (plus Tagging & Scheduling).  I would send you a fully parametric Arch opening Family (not Elliptical), if it weren't such a hassle now with this newfangled UI.  Arrgh!
