Hi,
Is there any option to show in hidden line elevation the core in dashed line, like the print screen from Autocad I attached?
Thanks!
Hello! i'm not 100% on exactly what you want to show as dashed? however if its something in profile you want to show as dashed you could use a graphic override. However if its something obscured by something else you can use the 'show hide hidden lines' tool. Hope this is of some help!
You can always override elements or linework within views.
Thanks for the replies!
I need to show in elevations (not sections) the concrete (the core) in dashed lines...
I would prefer not to do it manually if possible- there are many elevations drawings...
Thanks!
So there is one element which you want to show/indicate in elevations?
What I would do is create detailed lines, group them and copy them over on the other elevation drawings. You can paste aligned to view, that way it is quite easy.
The automatic display of hidden lines is achieved by setting the [ Show Hidden Lines ] parameter of the elevation-views to [ All ].
I tried the option of hidden line... Wasn't really happy with the result, and I would like to avoid the option of using detailed line if possible... ![]()
Detail lines do exist, why do you not want to use them? If you make it a detail group, it is perfectly flexible.
You can fine tune the Object Styled or the view VG to get what you want with Hidden lines turned on. Hint: the hidden lines you see are controlled by Hidden Lines subcategories.

A simply hack would be....
Custom edit the hatch boundary to get required results...
