I have a Revit File which clearly contains sheets ( I can see the 2-D sheets when I view the file within the DOCS platform). However, when I start the publish workflow within DOCS to publish to SHEETS within the BUILD platform, the workflow says that there aren't any sheets to publish. Is there a specific setting when creating sheets with Revit that must be adhered to so that the DOCS platform can recognize them? Any other suggestions as to why the workflow is not recognizing the sheets from within the Revit file?
Probably, at the time of publication, there was not any set checked for publication. To verify this, go to Collaborate > Publish Settings. Make sure that at least one set with sheets is checked. If not, create a set with sheets, save and close, synchronize, and publish again.
By the way, welcome to the forum, Debra.
Thanks for the welcome!
I have confirmed that a set exists in the Publish Settings. We pushed a new version set to the cloud and the same error occurs. The interesting thing is that if I download the source file and upload it into a different project (using a drag and drop vs publishing from Revit), I am able to publish the sheets properly to BUILD. Any further suggestions?
Oh, I think the two pictures that you posted refer to two different usages of "sheets" in BIM 360. The first picture shows the 2D tab of the viewer, and it shows the sheets that are part of the publication set of a Revit model. Your second picture says "there are no sheets to extract". That refers to PDF documents uploaded to the "Plans" folder of BIM 360. That folder is for PDF files, not for Revit models. Please clarify.
All screenshots are from the ACC Platform. Screenshot 1: navigate to ACC Docs, locate the file within Project Files. If you click on the filename, it reveals the screenshot you see. From the left, we can look at the included sheets, levels, issues, and model browser. All looks good to me here. Screenshot 2: navigate to ACC Docs, locate the file within Project Files. Instead of clicking on the filename, click the checkbox directly to the left of the filename. When the checkbox is enabled, the publish
command is revealed. Clicking on Publish starts the process to push the "sheets" we see in screenshot 1 to SHEETS within BUILD, still in the ACC Platform. That process says that there are no sheets to publish to SHEETS. Hope that clarifies.
The software indicates that both RVT and PDF can be published. I can confirm this to be true as I have published successfully from Revit files in the past.
Thanks for clarifying. Definitely that is a different workflow than the one I'm used to with DOCS/BIM360. Sorry, I can't help you further on this, because this seems to be specific to BUILD in ACC.
