I would like advice on strategies/software for sharing a Revit model with a remote drafter. The model and files needs to be shared on the cloud and not my company's server. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

The remote user will need a license for BIM 360 and be invited to the project on the cloud with appropriate permissions.

Before you think common cloud storage services (Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox, etc...) might work, they don't.

The only two viable options are:

1. Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Both your firm and the drafter need ACC licenses.

2. Revitserver.  It is free but it is stored in your server, you will need to provide access to Revitserver to the drafter (he only has access to Revitserver, not your firm Windows server.
