1. - My projects are multifamily, so we have a main building file and in the file are tenant unit links.
- The unit links have design option applied to show different styles of the same unit type.
- We use BIM 360 to package and share our model with consultants we are working with on the project.
2. - The issue we run into is that design options are view based. We have a view template that has all the different link design options set. But the model components remain the same in all other views that don't have that view template applied.
3. - When we share models with the consultants, they cant see which units have which design option because they aren't using our template. So they are only seeing the primary model.
4. - I don't really know how to word this as a question, but the goal is to get them to be able to append our view template into theirs and create one template that has our links set by our template and the consultant links set by their template. Or is there some other workflow to getting the design options to show correctly when sharing a link?
