Shared Coordinates - Problem with heights when sending the model to a different person

Hi, I have creaded couple of buildings models and a site model and they all have a shared coordinates system. I thought I did everything correctly (this is the first time I have done this), the individual buildings all have their own project 0 level and they take the altitude above sea level from the site model. So if I want to rotate them or set them higher, I do it in the site model and publish the coordinates. The problem appeared when I wanted to send the model of one of the buildings to the civil engineer we work with. I sent them the file of one of the buildings so that they could check it out and they said that the heights were 300 meters lower than they should be, which in our model was on level 0, when they opened the model it was on -300 meters. In the end they just manually moved the model 300 meters higher, but I'm wondering why this happened in the first place, does anyone know? Is it some mistake I did or is it because I sent only a single building without sending the site plan as well? How can I avoid this in the future?

If you have a survey point at Elevation 0 and a Base Point at Elevation 300...the levels would then read either 0 or -300

The first thing to check before they move anything is relative to which point the the spot elevation or level datum are reporting.

moreover, are these cloud models or local work shared models? And how did you establish the shared coordinates between all?

How you send them ? IFC , Revit model or some things else?

Just Revit Model. The Elevation above the sea level is around 50 meters so this -300 meters doesn't seem to be connected with anything. I'm wondering if it happened because I sent only the building model without the site plan so the building model went "crazy" without the shared coordinates from the site plan model to refer to anymore.
