Hi All,
I am not quite sure what is wrong with this file. Hoping could get some help on this.
I am trying to publish shared coordinate information from a Revit project file into a DWG file.
The coordinate seems to be published and saved correctly. But when I try to re-link the DWG file to the Revit project file using shared coordinate positioning, the alignment was way off.
At first I thought there is an issue with the DWG file it self, but then if I open the same project file using Revit 2020, and re-link the same DWG file, the alignment was correct. I am completely puzzled with this behavior.
I am using Revit 2017.2.4. Screencast, DWG File and Project file attached. Any help will be appreciated.
Steps to re-create the issue:
1. Open "Main2017.rvt" in Revit 2017
2. Link attached DWG using Shared Coordinate positioning (using "246" coordinate)
3. Open "Main2017.rvt" in Revit 2020
4. Link attached DWG using Shared Coordinate positioning (using "246" coordinate)
Thanks & Regards,
Arthur G.
@Anonymous I am showing a difference in the coordinate locations in your cad file vs the revit 2017 file. That could explain the difference in the imports..
