Set Lower Roof Half Tone

I have this roof plan showing lower roof - I have created a filter to  half tone the lower roof (level 5).I was able to gray out parking, roof drain; but do not know how to do it with parapet, and some model lines.

  • If I pick walls, I don't see "Level" is an option
  • Lines - only for Path of Travel Lines

Create a Filter for the Wall Category. That's how you modeled the Parapets; right? With Walls; right?

...BTW, there's always Selection Filters too.  Not just Rule-Based Filters.

How should I set the rule for the wall? It should filter all the walls the top of which are at or under a level.

I can't use Wall Max. Ht. Notes - since the walls are not all from the same base point - I ended up half tone all the walls. I do not see top constraint - that would be more useful.

No need to complicate it with filters.  Do this:

- set View range's Bottom to Associated Level

- set View range's Depth to Level below

- go to Manage > Additional Settings > Line Styles > change <Beyond> line style to halftone

Thank you! Great solution!  Never thought about what  Line style"<Beyond>" means.  It works even before I remove the filter on parking etc.  Looks like Manage line styles has higher priority over View Filter. Recently, ran into the topic on "Element Visibility Override Hierarchy", View Filter is 5,  then which level of priority is "Manage line styles" ?
