Sensors in Revit

Hi

I am trying to implement sensors into Revit (temperature, humidity etc) and can't seem to find any sensor models. I watched a useful video (below) where a sensor family is imported and I was wondering where I could access the family files from to import into my model.

Thanks

You can research mechanical control devices on the Autodesk help page. But basically, you insert the instrument, and create a circuit for it. I have attached some families of thermostats.

I'm curious to what detail you use the circuiting of the " Control" connector? Do you use schedules to show control relationships?

I use thermostat in spaces, but i manually include the name of the controlled device (i.e. " T-VAV12" ). there are also cases where a thermostat controls multiple devices (radiator and VAV).

for lighting sensors i use spline annotation lines to show what fixtures are in what lighting zone. This works well to show clients and contractors what to do. Other methods with naming switchlegs don't work well for people to understand easily.

so I'm curious about your workflow and use of the connectors.

OP: You can just use any existing or create new family. There also is a " Mechanical Control Devices" category you can use. any smartness would be in the " control" connector.
