Select room tags belonging to selected Rooms

Hi All, we have two room tag types in a project, after placing all room tags, I am trying to find a way to select the room  tags belonging to the rooms I have already picked in a selection set.
Before I investigate Dynamo, is there a simple trick I am missing? I can filter the rooms I want easily, now I need to select the room tags for those rooms so I can change their type...? Thoughts?

Hi @Anonymous

If you have a filter to select the rooms you need, you should be able to use that to filter the View, and turn off/on the rooms you are filtering, then "select all" Room Tags "in the current View".

You could do it either way, as in if your filter only selects the rooms you need, first change all the room tags to that type, in visibility graphics > filters, turn off the selected Rooms and change the remaining room tags to the correct type.

Ah yes, I understand, I like that. Only problem is it is a per view solution, rather than project wide. I could put together a temporary view template to get through all the views a little faster, but wish I could just select the tags based on a common room parameter. Thanks for the suggestion!

I agree, I have come across many scenarios where a tag specific to an elements type or parameter value would be very handy!

Good luck
