Select previous doesn't select previous but before (R21)

Hello everybody,

Something strange happens when I want to do something with the last used object again.
For example; I have got 2 families, first I move family A and after that I move family B. After I deselect family B and I want to move it again, I need to select him manually first. If I use the "select previous" function, Revit selects family A...

Does this sound familiar to anyone and does anyone know how to adjust this so that Revit selects family B instead of family A?

(I am using Revit 2021.1.2)

Do not hit escape after the move command or any command (that is an Autocad habit)... The behavior in Revit is as follows:

  • If you move A >>> then move B >>> then left click in a blank Area (Select Previous will pick B)
  • If you move A >>> then Move B >>> then hit Escape after the move command (Select Previous will pick A)
  • If you move A >>> hit Escape >>> Move B >>> Hit escape >>> Select Previous will be either Greyed out or will pick the last element you modified/moved without hitting escape after the modification

Edit: See illustration below
