Hello everyone,
I am editing the walls in the show parts mode and I cannot select the similar objects. Is there any way to resolve this issue?
Thanks,
Elio

Parts are parts, not similar objects. If you set parts visibility for the view under graphics to show original, you can select the similar wall types.
Thank you, Sir
I am aware that if I apply the command 'Show original' I can select similar objects, but that's not what I need...So there is no way to select the similar parts in Revit in 'show parts' mode?
I think no parts are identical. What you can do is use select similar on the originals and save that to a selection set, then in parts load this selection set, isolate elements and select what you need from the parts (possibly save another selection set for those).
edit: Actually you can also just apply temporary view properties and turn off all model categories except for parts. Then create a selection set possibly. Easier method.

So you don't have parts with the same material? How many instances are we talking about?

Then you filter the parts with any common parameter to create sets ![]()

I realize how to do it, but if you have just 10 ie. you can just select them instead of going through the trouble of creating filters especially for that but this is not specified in the question...
When one is working with parts and shop drawings from parts, one has to create those filters anyways...even with 2 walls
