Seeing lines through walls in 3D view

I have an issue with the graphics in the 3D view. I think it started after the last Windows Updates. As you can see in the image the lines from some of the objects inside can be seen through the wall, which is driving me crazy because i'm paiting the walls and I cannot work properly. The transparency is set to 0. The visual style of the image is consistent colors but it happens with the others too. At the same time the objects don't highlight when you hover the mouse. It is only happening in the 3D view.

If this is happening in all 3d views it is probably a video card driver issue.  Try updating the driver and/or turning off hardware acceleration in the Revit options dialog (big "R" menu).

If it is only happening in one view try simply deleting the view and re-creating it.  Sometimes a view will suffer like this and re-creating it will solve the problem.

If anyone comes across this, the simple fix I found was to just delete the view and remake it. I don't know what the cause is other than it has to do with the GPU, but it's the quickest solution.

Just wanted to add that I had the same experience as Debner. This was driving me NUTS. Thought it was a visibility issue. Deleted and remade the 3D - GLORIOUS FIXED! Thanks Debner!

That was also happening to me in one of my 3D views and as it happens to pretty much all designers IT WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY. However, after looking at this post I was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the idea of deleting the view due to the massive amount of view overrides I had to place in this individual view. So just before I was ready to delete the view I decided to have a full overview of the 3D and just after clicking the Home button on the right top next to the "ViewCube" the issue was magically fixed.:Gesicht,_das_eine_Umarmung_gibt:Capture.JPG

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

I did a lot of lineworks on my 3D and I really do not want to go through the whole thing again. My solution before this was to delete the view and the model would return to normal but all the linework and hidden objects would reappear again. You, sir, have saved me a lot of time, I have to thank you once again.

Sometimes it happens.

DELETE that view and create a NEW 3D view. It will work
