Section showing at different level

I have learned to cut sections at the first floor level.

But, on this project, I need to show this section marker at the roof plan.

I can not figure how to make it show in the roof plan.

Can anyone tell me how?

Thanks!

Does the section show  the roof? Might be visibility graphics are turned off for the sections. Do you have a different view template for the roof plan compared to the floor plan?

Also look at another section view that would show section in question and make sure the section is cutting through the roof plan level. If not, select section and drag to above the roof level.

Thank you for your reply.

Even though I cut 3 sections at roof plan, they show at floor plan.

All views set to "Coordination

Everything seems to be turned on in VG Annotations

Funny thing- even though I cut the breezeway section in Roof view, after detailing it, it not does not show?

Any ideas?

Without seeing the Revit file itself I am sending you Section Tags Visibility from Autodesk. Might be the View Range settings. Levels may be not inline just a couple of examples. Go through the link below and see if any of these settings will help.

Fooling around with the crop on the sections seemed to a remedy.

Thank you,

I have bookmarked the link you sent.

Thank you again!
