Hi there,
I 've created a section in a plan in which a crop region is necessary so that it can be limited to display certain area. Now, the problem is that the section line disappears in the plan.
I tried to overcome this visibilty issue through creating an Area Plan so that I can make the cropped region and the section intersect. This does not work.
Please do you havwe any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Is the section mark not visible in plan due to the crop region of the plan or just the dotted extents of the section?
Screen shot(s) might help clarify.
The section mark is invisible in the plan due to the crop region. Once I deactivate the crop region the section line mark is shown
Hi, @Anonymous
I believe you need to check the section > Properties > Hide at scales coarser than (parameter scale factor), it seems your plan scale factor not match with Hide at scales coarser than scale factor.

You can expand the annotation crop region of the plan view so that it is past the section mark to make it visible.
I did this but this has a disadvantage, namely, the section is going to be too long and display, therefore, unwanted objects. Moreover, I'd like to keep the sections similar in terms of size in the layout.
Thanks
It would be much easier to understand what you are talking about if you included screen shots.
Note that you can stretch the section line to indicate the position of the section, but also the extent of the crop. Click on a section line and you will see two dots that indicate the extent of the section, but yo will also see a dotted rectangle that indicates the extents of the crop. These operate independently.
Hey guys !
Any news regarding this topic ?
I have the same kind of problem. When modifying the range of the crop region in the direction of the staggered section, revit is showing something wrong. It jumps until the next "real" section line, in the right direction, but it should just cut the "fake line"/connection-line and not show anything after that.
Did anyone ever find a workaround to avoid that?
