Can someone please tell me what to select in Object Styles to be able to change the lineweight of a section head? I got the 'Section Line' but not the head, and 'Callout Head' doesn't seem to affect as shown below.

The Line Weight of the Section Head = the Section Mark under Object Styles...right under the Section Line.

I am sorry , the question was about the line weight, so I am not exactly sure what is meant by "remain blue"?
you wanted to change color or Line weight?

I can get the section color to change weight and color. I was wondering if the section head and view direction flag could also be changed. Please see below.
OK I get you now...The Blue color you see in the view port is related to the Active Link which is in the Section Head.

Hope this is acceptable, posting on a thread almost a year old. I understand the theory behind using the filter but what would cause Revit to not use the color scheme in the family?
I've opened up the Section Head/Tail families and saved as Section Head - Red, Section Tail - Red, changed the color of the elements by adding a new line color under section mark as Red, saved and loaded back into the project. Then I edit the building section system family and created a new type lets just say RED for example and selected the new Section Head - Red and Section Tail Red accordingly, so that I can display both sections standard sections and then mine which will be just for modeling purposes. So after assigning the correct families when I create a section using this method the head is still blue as previous but the tail is red. If I cycle the head and tail on each end of the section, the tail is always red, regardless of side, and the head will on go red if it's cycled on the "tail" end of the section.
