Section Far Clip Not Working

Hi All 

I have an issue where the far clipping of my sections is not working. As you can see the far clip is well beyond the face of the building but the objects beyond are not showing up. I can select the distant objects but they wont appear in the section.

Any suggetsions would be very much appreciated!

Aren't those highlighted elements obscured by walls?  As a test, change the section view to Wireframe and see.

Thanks for the reply. There are no walls blocking the view of the objects beyond. They do show up in wireframe but I dont think that is the issue. Since it should be showing wall edges etc. It seems to be just cutting and showing only exactly at the point at which the section is cut.

So the objects show in a wireframe view but you don't think the walls blocking them?  Okay then let's do another test: set the view back to Hidden and turn off Walls category in VG.  What do we see now?

- If you do see the objects then enough said, there are walls blocking them.

- If you don't see the objects then check the view for masking/filled regions.

If all else fail, share your file here.

Thanks I tested with no walls on and still not visible. There are no regions blocking the view. 

It really is strange. If I place an elevation in the same place it all shows up fine. Which makes me think it is a VG/Template issue but going through and matching settings has not been fruitful.

I just transferred a Template from another project in which the sections are working properly and that seems to be working. So I will proceed with that template for now.

REALLY appreciate the thoughts on this @ToanDN !

Have you checked the Discipline setting? That has affected showing hidden lines for me.

Hi,

if you work with worksets maybe the workset of these objects is hidden in the section.
