Section Cut Pattern

Hello everyone.

There is no change when i change the 'Surface Pattern' or 'Cut Pattern' options of any material in the material browser.

For example, I would like to choose reinforced concrete hatch for 'Concrete' material ( Which is created by me). But, when i choose the hatch, it always says <none>, so it looks empty. But if i choose a different pattern( I guess they are all came from another files, i mean the available ones.( BIM Objects website)), it works. I searched a lot of posts in Revit Turkish and International forums but im still in where i began. I hope you can understand and solve this issue with your priceless experience.

Thanks a lot to everyone.

Hi @SezaiErcan,

please provide a minimal example to illustrate the problem. --> copy your project and leave just few examples and views in it that we can have a look to better understand the problem.

have a nice day

Did you verify if the custom fill patterns actually work (in Filled regions for example)?

Can you share a file with your custom fill patterns in it?

Hello again.

I think i found the solution , but it doesn't work properly. I just created a new fill pattern which isn't in the default Revit Fill Patterns. While i am importing the pat file , i scaled it according to my view scale. I am viewing the floor plans in 1/100 (metric system) and I used 50 for scale .

The thing i didn't understand is if i import the pat file with 1:100 scale, it doesn't work , but it works in 1:50 scale. Still couldn't solve this problem but at least i solved and understood my main problem.( I think it's just about scale. )

I'm sure that i will solve it with some trying. I hope this can be solution for future problems.

Have a good day to everyone.

That is why I asked you to verify if the fill pattern actually worked in a Filled Region.
