Section Box Depth Clipping Confusion

Hi everyone, this is my first post and learning Revit on my own so really struggling here.

A bit of context on the model. I have inserted using Revit "Import CAD" option, a .dwg 3D model from Plant 3D into Revit (let's call it Piping model), and have also modelled some steel using Revit options. There is also a point cloud referenced in my Revit model.

I am creating a sheet with views, and I have imported some section views on my sheet.

I am creating sections on plan views no problem, and using the depth of the section view option to select the depth range I want shown in my viewport. This is working really well when selecting the depth of the point cloud I want shown, but the Piping model is not being clipped in all but one section view.

For one of the section views, the Piping model is being clipped exactly as intended, but the others, the Piping model is not clipped by the section view clip offset. I have checked all settings are the same for all sections created but I just can't replicate the one successful section view.

EDIT - I was about to post and noticed something additional that is interested. The successful section view is successfully clipping out what is behind the section line, the unsuccessful section views are not clipping what is behind it, but they are successfully clipping what is in front of it as a far the clip offset is concerned. In other words, the faulty section views are showing the Piping model that is behind it when looking at the section view.

Please help.

I did try using the export to autocad command before your post, but it didnt work then.

I have since moved off that project, but tried using the proposed solution for a different project (export to autocad - this command was successful this time), and importing mass as suggested but got errors in revit stating that there were to many edges. Tried exploding, tried purging, all unsuccessful.
