Screen a fill pattern on an elevation.

Hi Everyone;

     My question is..How can I screen a fill pattern of an elevation of a wall the that is masonry block. I'm at odds.I can darken the outline of the wall but I can't get fill pattern to screen back. Is there a way I can screen that or any other fill pattern. I appreciate any and all comments. Have a great one.

Select the wall > Override graphics in view > by Element > Surface pattern > Color > Select a light gray (for example).
