In Revit 2016 i could easily filter walls in schedules by Base or Top constraint, in 2017 i can't seem to find a way to to this.
Right now i have two options:
- Manually adding a text parameter to walls, name it "level" and filter on this parameter. (adds a lot of work to each projekt)
- Create a new text parameter named "level" and linking it to the walls base constraint parameter for which i then create a filter (this seems like an unnecessary step which may cause conflicts later on)
Is there anyway to naturaly filter walls depending on base/top constraint in schedules in 2017 as was possible in 2016?

Dear Simon
I just tested your statement. I am still able in Revit 2017 to add Base and Top Constraint to a schedule and filter upon their values.
See images below. So to me this still seems possible in Revit 2017.
I hope you will find the same.
Kind regards
Apparently the schedules were set to "include elements in links" which removes this option
That is good to know. Seems like wanted behavior to me, because levels in linked files, though maybe having the same LevelName, don't necessarily have the same LevelHeight as the levels in the parent file. So confusion could arise.
Thanks for the info.
