SCHEDULES

Arghhh... I have been struggling with this for hours and I cannot find the solution.

I have created a furniture schedule and it was working perfectly fine and when I opened my project this morning all the tables has disappeared from the schedule. It is on the plan and nothing has changes but somehow the chairs are still there but the schedule does not pick up the tables at all.

I have tried to change Filter and the assembly code for the tables are TO...... and the filter is set for equal or greater than BS.... and still nothing?

If I copy the same schedule onto a new project, it picks up everything correctly, so it seems like it is only this project that has an issue but I do not understand what happened?

If you remove all the filter rules on the schedule does it show up then?

Schedules are phase dependent. Did a change occur there?

Are the elements you schedule in the same file or in a linked file?

That also can have an impact on the schedule

If i remove all the filter rules, it just adds another section which calculates the overall furniture. It appears as " VARIES" and just adds every single item into one count.

This is with my filter settings.

and this is what happens when I remove the filters

and yes all elements are in the same file.

Then you have "Itemize every instance" deselected.

What it combines depends on your sorting/grouping settings.

So you might need to select it, or make sure that sorting/grouping settings are such that a combined field has all the same values

Check phasing of the schedule.

okay... I did that and it did bring back some of the families but not all of them.

I am really confused because it worked perfectly fine yesterday and it works fine if I paste it onto a brand new project ????

The settings I showed are the common reasons/settings why things do not show up in schedules.

Do some trouble shooting (on a backup project).

-Check which elements/instances show up and which not.

-Look at the phase settings of your instances.

-If you have a large file try to remove stuff and work on a smaller set of instances.

Otherwise consider uploading (part of) your project and we can have a look.

Are we talking Schedules on Sheets with Filter By Sheet checked under the Filter Tab?  Are the Tables Visible in a View on the Sheet?

Is it possible someone edited that table family and changed its category to some other category?
