Is there a way of organizing items in a schedule, say doors, by their appearance in a view?
Everything in my "basement" view would be grouped together, as opposed to by, for instance, level.

Do you have Rooms? If so, you can make Room Aware Doors and Filter, Sort and Group the Doors by Room in the Door Schedule.
There a a lot of other ways to Sort. Group and Filter as well. Comments and/or Mark to name a couple .

That not what I said. I said YES you can -- by Filtering, Sorting and Grouping based on a unique identifier such as "Comments" or "Mark".
I have no idea how - or why - you would employ Dynamo for this. You would need to put together some routine for Dynamo to execute. If you did this all this work, then what would be the point of making it into a DYN routine? This can all be done in Revit without third party involvement -- as I explained above.
But, whatever.
@jfjacques I agree, just posted that for reference while@barthbradley had already given the same solution. Certainly would appreciate it if you give him the solution credit, credit where credit's due...
