Hi All
I need a group total count of the "sorted groups", not the itemized count. for example, B201-601 is one type. although the group has 7 item inside but at the bottom of the column it should show total of each type counted as 1 type. Not sure how to achieve this.
The type parameter is just the name of the model group.
Share a screen capture of the sorting/grouping column please. It looks like you have a footing for the sorted parameter so you're getting two rows for each, one the counted instances of the group and the footing for that row reporting the same thing again. If your schedule reports each "type" of group and provides the total in the count column that's the info you say want no?

thanks. i need a total group count of each type, not the total count of the itemized count.
Turn off the footer (it's causing the extra row for each group type) and your schedule will show you how many groups there are in the grand total at the bottom and the total number of each type in the count column on the right. If you are grouping those differently conceptually then you need another parameter to sort by the pulls the groups that are the "same" together so you can get a sum for that collection.
The footing option makes sense if you Itemize Every Instance where you get 7 rows for one group and need a sum/total for each "collection" of groups shown.
