schedule organization

I'd like to organize the curtain wall panels in my schedule by grouping them according to the curtain wall assembly they belong to. How would I go about doing this?

Also how do I get the awning panel in a curtain wall to show up in the curtain wall schedule? Why doesn't it in the first place?

Wall Schedule or Curtain Wall Panel Schedule? Sounds like you are using the wrong Schedule.

Is Sorting not working for Organization?

I'm looking to organize my curtain wall panels via the curtain wall they belong to. Is there any way of doing this?

Currently I am creating a panel type for every curtain wall. It's likely not the best way of going about it.

Not sure what you mean by organize panels by curtain wall they belong to.  Are you talking about organizing them in the browser or in a schedule?

in the schedule. I have several large expanses of glass, each made up of several panels. I would like these panels to be grouped together in a way that reflects the expanse of glass(curtain wall) they belong to.

You can select one panel in a curtain wall, right click and choose select panels on host to select all panels belong to that curtain wall, then enter a value in some field such as Comments to identify them and use that filed to group the schedule.
