Schedule: hide fields for each group

Hello

I was wondering if there was a way to hide a schedule field for each group.

Right now i have a QTO schedule from my window and used a filter so it only displays the sills. The problem is that i have 2 different types of sill. I want the sills from material A (for example concrete) to be calculated in m³ and the sills from material B (for example aluminium) to be calculated in m.

When i sort my different sills, I see my volume and length fields display for both types. Is there way to only show volume for material A and only length for material B? Or can this only be solved by creating two different schedules?

You should be able to Filter by the material parameter, selecting the exact equal value.

Thank you for your answer,

I can indeed filter out the 2 type of sills with the 'Material: Name' parameter.  however i  still dont know how to not display the length from the sills made from material A and the volume from  the sills made from material B.

In the image below i would like to hide / have a blank field in the width column for all sills of material A. For the sills of material B i would like a blank field in the volume column for all sills of material B (since it's zero due to the type of sill).

Is this possible?

Remove the Width (m) column - in the Feilds tab, highlight the parameter and hit the red arrow to remove it.

Then - click the New Parameter button. Create an instance based family text parameter - that will give you a blank, editable field. Good luck!

The easiest way is to create two schedules.

If you still want to explore how to do it in one schedule then copy one of each sill type and the schedule to a new file and share it here.
