Schedule filter by Sheet with design options?

To my surprise Schedule Rooms by Sheet does not work with Design options? 

The Room Schedule with Design Option 1 set and filtered by Sheet does not show any Rooms when placed on Sheet with View with same Design Options 1 set. 

Or am I missing something?

Only works with Primary not Secondary.

Surprised I can't find more discussion around this, seems incredibly limiting. "You can filter by sheet, except for the views that have a secondary Design Option, then you get nothing" ??
