Hi,

Is it possible to control in which direction my object is going to scale when i change the View Scale?

Something like the image attached?

It should be but sounds tricky depending on the element.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Huh?  Trying to wrap my brain around this one since objects don't scale when you change the view scale.

Annotation symbols do.

Thanks! Got my brain wrapped around it now!  And yeah; it would be nice if you could control that.

Well, it is just a Generic model family, no annotations or symbols.

In those two prints attached here you can see that when i change the scale my object changes his size, but also moves away from my View Title. I'm trying to find a way to pin a origin point in order to make my object grows/shrink without moving away from my View Title.

The view grows when you change to larger scale.  Turn on the view crop region and you can see it.  The view title is an annotation so it remain the same size and location on sheet.

This is what I thought we were talking about...

Thanks for your explanation, it helped a lot to understand what is happening to what when i change the scale.

Hmm, so the View grows and the object follows. Maybe the solution would be to pin one point of my region view instead of my object and, when i change the scale, that point will be fixed in my sheet and its going to grow to those directions that are not pin?

Well, is it possible? Did i get the right idea? 🤔

"Sometimes you get a poorly worded question and sometimes the question gets you."

That was quite the rabbit hole we had to navigate in order to get to the meaning of the question.

You want to change the scale of a view/viewport and be able to choose the base point by which the boundary gets scaled to accommodate the new scale. This cannot be done as we have no control over the viewport on the sheet aside from position and type.
