Scale line weight for annotation detail lines in different scale views

Hi All

I have drawn up some details over the model view in 1:20 using detail lines and fills. I group them together and copy onto the 1:5 sheet. The model lines are scaled but my detail lines become very thin.

Do I have to manually adjust each line or there is a quicker way ?

Open Line weight manager, look into Detail Lines tab for 1:5 scale. Compare
them with Model lines tab and adjust accordingly.

Annotation Detail lines sounds a little bit confusing it is

  • Either Annotation Line (marked in Blue) and the line weight of these is independent of the view scale. If you want to scale these differently, then you will need different annotations from different view scales.

  • OR Detail Lines (Marked in Red) and these follow the line weight defined for Model Lines

If you are missing the Scale 1:5, then you need to Add it otherwise the closest defined scale will apply (ie: 1:10)

The line weight of "detail line" is controlled by Model Line Weights not by Annotation Line Weights.

Thanks. I thought anything drawn under the Annotation tab are annotation lines.
