Saving Revit Back from 2019 to 2017

I created Revit Families in Revit 2019, but my client needs them to be saved back to 2017, or even just 2018. Is there ANY way to do this? Are there any "work around" solutions that keep the parameters?

Revit is not backward compatible. No workarounds.

this is nothing new

Revit has never had this functionality you will have to recreate the model in 2018 or 2017

if you are on subscription your allowed to run previous versions

thats why its a good idea to keep multiple versions of revit installed

its best to communicate with clients on what version they are using before the project gets started

now you will have to redo everything from scratch in revit

Sadly no... not backwards compatible.   You could export RVT 2019 content to IFC and get it into a RVT 2017, but you will loose some intelligence and it isn't very pretty.  Why not have your client upgrade if possible?  It's always good to decide which version of Revit the team will use prior to starting.  Good luck!
