I recently downloaded Revit 2016 for students, but I was not able to use it once. When I click on "save" the program hangs (does not respond) and the only option is to close it, losing everything I created.
I've tried some solutions that I found in the Autodesk Forums, like this:
I also tried reinstalling the program, disabling the anti-virus, firewall, with no results.
Any solution ??
Are you saying that Revit successfully launches, but when clicking Save the program crashes or freezes?
I did steps 1, 2 and 3, with no result. Step 4 I tried now, but I didn't understand which server service to find in the Services.msc folder...
When you did a re-installation, did you first perform a "Clean Uninstall"?

It may be worth a try, however your situation is unique, in that you can actually launch the Product and work on it.
