Same Plan view in several sheets

HI, Is there any way to have the same Floor plan in different sheets, I don't want to duplicate with detailing as design in changing. Any help would be appreciated.

Duplicate as Dependent so that when you change one view, the dependent ones will also be updated (for the most parts).

You best bet is create a View Template and assign it to the enlarged scale views and that should take care of the model graphical consistency.  The annotation needs to be revised when you change the design, there is no way around that.

if you group the detail items and then duplicate with detail..... when you change the model design the duplicate will follow - and then when you change the detail group to follow the new design all the duplicate views will follow the group change?

AND you can choose whatever scale you like? for the duplicates

if the detail items are different for each view - theres no avoiding the flog?! :zwinkerndes_Gesicht:

I'm having trouble getting my head around this. You shouldn't have a need for duplicate plans. I've got a feeling you have not provided some key information that might help you get an appropriate solution.

It sounds like you have an over all view and need to make part plans from it. Is that so?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

The problem is that I can't make dimensions and elevation marks in a Group.

No, I don't want to make part plans, I just want an exact same plan in two sheets(Cover and site sheets).

You really probably maybe don't want that.

I put an overall site plan on my Cover sheet quite often. But it is NOT the same as my full-sized site plan.

1. More things are hidden, because when the view is smaller it will become cluttered.

2. Hatched detail regions are sometimes used to show areas of work.

3. Grading and underground piping are not needed.

4. Lots of the annotations an references to other views aren't used.

etc., etc., etc....
