Running Horizontal Cable Trays flat against wall

Hi All

I'm currently trying to run horizontal cable trays so that the back of the cable tray is flat against the wall and the open side is facing outwards. I've managed to do this with incredible struggle, but when I extend the length of the tray or try to add a fitting, the cable tray snaps back to it's original position (open end facing up wards). Anyone have any suggestions? Feels like I've tried everything.

Thank you

Try clearing auto connect (Automatically Connect).

- Create a cable tray type that do not automatic add fittings and use them to draw the ones flat against the wall (I have no idea how you did it).

- Make copy of the fittings and set them to Workplane based + Not always vertical so that you can manually place them on the wall or any surfaces (hor, ver, or tilted).  Place them manually to connect the trays and change size parameters to match.

Example below show the fittings manually connecting in-place trays.
