I know how to align a regular pattern but how can i rotate jpg pattern?
(at this photo can be seen the the sidewalk pattern should be roatated)
Specifying an Image File for a Render Appearance
It is quite opposite.
There is a statement on a site from a link I posted:
"Under Position, for Rotate, specify degrees of rotation in a clockwise direction.
You can enter a value between 0 and 360, or use the slider."
@ToanDN posted a screenshot on which you can see 'Rotation' parameter.
What else do you need ?
Thank i see now what you mean.
it world be very efficent if revit would give me the option to rotate every plane pattern individually. that is beacuse if i change the rotation of a pattern under matirials window, it will rotate the same way on all planes.
is there any way to rotate the pattern (jpeg pattern) on each plane individually?
Use a texture alignment as already mentioned by @ToanDN.
Set a model pattern for a surface of a floor and rotate it as you wish and texture will folow.
Whats model pattern and how should i set it on?
i know that the surface pattern will follow (and ALIGN command)
but i'm talking about apperiance pattern (or maybe it has another name?)
did you speak about that?
Assign a model pattern as a surface pattern to a material used as a finish in a material editor, use texture alignement, then in a plan view in hidden line rotate a model pattern.
