Hi
I have a photo with a sweep in place frame, I would like to rotate from the top to have a distance between the photo and the wall. How can I do it please?

Host the sweep on a reference plane instead of the wall face, then you can tilt the reference plane and the sweep will follow.
hello, rotate or align ? if align > just go to modify > align > pick your line where you want the photo to be and pick your photo. thanks
Align Tool works with either the sweep or the photo. But not both of them.
This is what I tried first. When I select the sweep and photo, I don't find an option to pick a new host.
hello, i'm assuming your frame is a family > edit your family frame < untick always vertical and load again > overwrite existing and see if helps. then rotate with your reference plane guide. thanks
hello, need to align your photo to your frame then lock it before you can rotate them together. thanks
They were aligned, When I align them, only one of them will be aligned. I also tried to group them. But I didn't succeed.
hello, photo need to align then to the frame 4 sides and lock (if you see the padlock lock it). you cannot group them together without locking it, your photo will left behind. thanks
Hi
There is no locks for any. I tried to create a new frame than will add a photo, I tried to pick a new inclined host as Toan said. It always guide away from he section I'm into. I still can't succeed.
Many thanks
hello, can share your frame and photo so can check? thanks
Yes. Thank you. Section 1 will guide you to the frame
hello i created just a trial family then i group them and load into project file and can be rotated. please see screencast and file attached. thanks
Hi. Basically this is what I need. But I didn't understand it. I have to watch many time and try to follow. You know, I don't understand why many thinks are complected in Revit. I will back to you later.
Many thanks
I'll do it tomorrow. Its late here. Provide me your email add I will send you tomorrow. I'm out now. Thanks
Hello, what did is create the frame and photo as a family. Open a new family select generic model.rfa and do your frame with photo and save load to your project file and follow my screencast video to rotate. Thanks
Hi
I do not expect instant reply for any post. The steps looks easy, for me are not. I'm new to Revit, and I didn't work in Family before. Since I already have a rame and a photo, can I past in a generic family instead of creating it again? any way this is my email and thank you for being patient and supportive.

I believe that all objects should freely rotate:
