Rotate skylight grid

Using a mass, I am creating a skylight, but the system is make the grid at weird angles if I use a trapezoid shape. If I make the mass as a rectangle, is it okay. How do I make it like the red marks on the screenshot?

Any and all help would be appreciated, as always! Thank you

What about Sloped Glazing? You can change the Angle with that one.

you can use Align tool . Align > Select a Face or Edge you want to align with and then select a Grid Line.

  • I've made some diggings and it seems that, the clue is to begin the mass element as a rectangle

Then Create Form >Solid Form , and finally stretch Edges so to turn the paralelipiped into your desired volume.

I figure that Revit remember the object as an extrude rectangle and Aligns correct the Grid.

  • It is possible to Align Grid to Vertical Faces , but you will need for the second Grid Line a Model Line placed on the Face of the Grids so to be the second reference for align .

Can you share the file?  I did a test and the UV grid of a divided surface seems to have the right angle.

Regardless, you can adjust the UV grid, including rotation, alignment, etc. by activating the grid configuration tool.

I'll try the sloped glazing and subdivide.

In the mean time, here is file
