Hi everybody,

I have imported this object into revit, but it is rotated incorrectly.  What is facing TOP direciton, should actually be FRONT, and what is at BACK, should be on TOP.

The rotate tool does not work because the planes for rotation are only those parallel to the floor.  And I dotn seem to be able to change it.

I have attached a screeshot of what I mean, and also the file (obj which was iported through import CAD).

Would someone be able to help me with how I can do this?  Thank you very muchhhh 🙂

That looks like some partition made with aluminum and glass. Why don't you make that with the curtain wall tool, and avoid all this trouble?

Insert the cad file in a mechanical equipment family then you can rotate it however you want.
