Rotate hatch pattern from custom pattern

 Hi guys,

I want to rotate hatch pattern from custom pattern.
Example, i import acadiso.pat because it have what i want. But it is horizontal. I want line pattern rotation 45 deg.
What can i solve this issue ?

I would rotate the .pat in AutoCAD. You can also rotate a model hatch in the project environment by tabbing into it and rotate. Wouldn't advise that if you have to do many of them, though.

The HatchKit Add-in for Revit from the Revit Store or from here can rotate an existing pattern or create a rotated version from it directly within your project.

Commonly, 3 short diagonal lines are used to represent glass in elevation. The whole surface is not hatched (e.g. the glass material is not assigned a surface pattern).  You don't want to do this -- especially if you are also showing Swing Lines.  All that linework is going to be kind of "busy".  Instead, modify the family and draw 3 short diagonal Symbolic lines in Elevation View.   Additionally, assign this linework to a special Subcategory. This way, you can turn it off, through Visibility/Graphic Overrides, in Project Views that you don't want it to be shown.
