Rotate 3D section box

Hi all, I would like to rotate the 3D section box along x/y-axis.
However, I found that it could only be rotated along z-axix(plan view). May I know the method to do it? Thanks.

You can't do this with a Section Box.

What you are ultimately trying to achieve?  Maybe we can suggest another way to get there.

Thanks for your reply. May I know is there any method to create clip box/ scope box in that orientation?

Actually I would like to have a 3D cut like below photo.88641F2B-38F9-4E0C-BC13-6639B3451ADA.png

You can orient the 3D View to angled named Ref. Plane.

Orient to a Plane:

...go to a Section View and draw a Reference Line at the angle you want, Name the Reference Plane. Then return 3D View, right-click on View Cube, select Orient to Plane, and Select the Named Reference Plane as  Workplane.

- If you are okay with showing steps, you can use different scope boxes for the 3d views and complile them on sheet

- If you want the angled clipping plane, create parts, divide parts, exclude parts you don't want to show, then set the 3d view to show parts

...are you modeling it that way -- or viewing it that way?

I would like to have a view like that instead of having a model.

But I still fail to make that view by using "orient to reference plane.

1. Make a reference plane

2. Orient to the reference plane on 3D view

3. Photo 3 shows the oriented result

4. The section box is still aligned with the box which fail to cut an angle on the box

Sorry for the misunderstanding, @gifthelper01.  I wasn't suggesting that Orient to Plane would transform the Section Box -- only create a working view that was orthogonal to the cut plane.  As far as for rotating the Section Box the way you are wanting;  I've already indicated to you that that is not possible.

You can make a section and do a 3d of that : https://www.seiler-ds.com/make-2d-section-become-3d-view-revit/
