Rooms seperating by previous phase but showing new phase walls

This one's baffling me.  I've got a linked model which has phases that match the host model (mapped correctly) and the phase filters match exactly but for some reason, the phase I want to show is binding the rooms based on a previous phases layout.  The result is what is shown in the attached image.  Even weirder, is when I try and place a new room, the entire plan is still segmented by the previous phases walls still.  It's as if there are two phases overlaying on top of one another.

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

What is the link display set to? By linked view, by host view, or custom?

Link display is set to custom.  If I set everything to "By host view" nothing changes but it seems to be reading the linked file's phases and phase filters appropriately.

Phase filter names must match exactly between the models for them to work when you set the link display to custom.

Double checked, the nomenclature of the phases and phase filters are exactly the same including case sensitivity

Can you set the Phase and Phase filter to <by host view>?

This is a little strange now.  So as you can see in the image, the same issue is still happening, but now it's saying we're on phase 3 in the linked model when it should be reading Phase 2.  I've mapped the phases exactly so it's weird that it wouldn't be matching the phase of the host view especially since it's reverting to a future phase.  I have to leave it on custom settings since I'm referencing a design option (phasing options... which may be complicating this)

Thanks for helping out I really do appreciate you trying to figure this out with me.

You can keep the link display as custom, just change the phase and phase filter under the custom options to by host view.

Yup, they're changed, but it's still showing the same.  The only weird thing is that it says the host view is set to phase 3 but it's actually set to phase 2.  In the actual plan view, the linked model shows as phase 2 but the room bounding is acting as if it's a combination of existing and phase 2.

Ok, well I solved it.  This is a complicated project.  By accepting one of the phase design options as primary it's corrected itself.  I have a feeling I'm going to need to make two models, one for each phase solution and link them in.  Not the end of the world but seems to be a bug.
