Hey, i have a weird problem, in some flats in a housing project i'm working on rooms seem to be randomly cut out by literally nothing. Im posting a view of one of these occurences. As you can see there are no hidden elements that would cut this shape out. There are no room separators, if I add them nothing changes, this small area is not calculated.
In 3d section box view nothing obstructs this area/volume. Any ideas?

I still would expect room separator lines. Maybe check your view range. Maybe the room separator lines are below your view range. (In that case the lines would not show up as hidden elements)

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Try to pick the wall at no. 7 room go to properties and uncheck the room bounding. Thanks

Room Separators are doing anything? Check the Room's "Constraints" settings under it's Properties.
So, sadly nothing you guys pointed out worked.
Deleting this room and placing again gives same results. Trying to place a room inside this void instantly shows as room out of bounds.
@L.Maas - i did extend view range to above and below the room volume - did not find anything. Even selecting a large area around this cutout room doesn't show any room separators in properties selection rollout.
@ennujozlagam - randomly checking and unchecking room boundings around the problem area doesnt work..
@barthbradley - as you can see on screenshot - nothing is really wrong with the properties
Really stuck with this one ![]()
Are you using phasing? There may be a wall or line in a different phase.
Not phasing, and not wall spanning several levels.
It was some rogue structural column on a hidden workset.
Case is closed, thanks for fast response guys!
