She can't.
Here is what I would do if I were her:
- Create a Generic Model family with all shared parameters necessary for the Finish information.
- Draw a couple of small lines in the family for reference so that it can be located in a Room. Might as well put them in a new subcategory so that they can be turned off in any irrelevant views.
- (Optional) Create some labels referencing the shared parameter values and place them in the family. It is so the finish information will show on a plan as well.
- Load the family into the project and place one in each Room.
- Import the same shared parameters in the project and assign them to Generic Model category.
- Create a Generic Model schedule and get the field Room Name/Number and any Room inofrmation as needed (Area, Perimeter, Volume, etc...) from the dropdown. The schedule will look like a Room schedule even though it is not
- Get the Interior Finish shared parameters in the schedule
- Enter the Interior Finish information for each Room
