Rooms-Floor_Room Boundary

Hello, I do not understand why Revit 2021 and newer version do not recognize floors as room boundary: I can stretch the room above the limit of the floor even if the floor is set as "Room Bounding". I think that it can lead to mistakes. Is it a normal behavior? I attach an image

If you go to Architecture > Room & Areas > Area & Volume Computation > Computation > ... the default setting is "Areas only (faster)". If you stretch a room up in a section view you will see the blue color and the reference "x" go up, as if the ceiling and upper floor were not there. If you change that setting to "Areas and volumes" then the blue color and the reference "x" will stop at the nearest room boundary element (the ceiling). If you keep this Volume setting active, Revit will do more work behind the curtains, though.

even though Revit says Areas Only is "faster", i have Areas and Volumes turned On in my company templates by default.  Another thing i teach is Not to use the default settings when placing rooms.

if you have Areas and Volumes turned On (as @Alfredo_Medina mentioned), the room will constrain its self to by the elements set to room bounding.

in the properties of the room, the "Unbound Height" will be the height of the 2 offsets, not the ceiling, but Volume will be correct based on the Room Binding elements.

oops... sorry meant to reply to @shaiGV878 ... just adding to what @Alfredo_Medina stated 😊
